I must learn not to make off handed comments about my ass, it seems to get me in lots of trouble :) :D

I thought i had too but i woke up this morning with a saw arse and i felt this sudden rumbling, and then my house got liquidated. I must remember not to spend any nights out with Grunty in the future. :eek: :D

Apparently the Worm is a BAAAD one. It is not exclusive to email - it also attaches to websites.

What worries me is I have had to recently wipe my hard drive because of a massive fallover immediately after clicking on a message link at Interplay....coincidence? I hope so. The link was regarding sound card problems (I was trying to help someone on BG2) the first thing to fall over was my sound card (speakers started screaming!)

I lost nearly a years work...(stupid stupid stupid - I have a zip did not back up....) I only backed between 2 separate hard drives....both affected.

I do not fully know the symptoms of Red Worm - only to be aware, and use an up to date virus checker. :(

Actually the red worm does nothing to directly effect the average user. It attacks Nt and 2000 servers only and can not migrate to your home system (unless you run a server ;) ) I woyuldn't worry too much about this one Ysh :)

AFAIK it is mostly websites that are the target of this worm - but read the link if you want to know more
