I have found a Hanchman. My question is, if my hanchman dies how can I get her back to life??? Is this a one time deal? Question 2: I threw everything I got, tried all potions and still I can not kill this Guardian of the Path, what gives. Is this another bug in the game? Thanks./

If a henchman dies, their body will be lying where they died. Just simply use a resurection spell/wand to bring them back to life then speak to them to get them to join you again.
I have not heard of a bug with the guardian of the path. Try pausing then right clicking on the guardian and click on examine - look for any immunties and weaknesses and use that info to decide the best method to kill it.
