Can't find Othrelos

Hey,

I've spent the last couple of hours looking for that dumbass Othrelos. I camped 2-3 days both inside and outside his house.. he didn't bother to show up. I checked the marketplace tunnel he sometimes hangs out at - he's not there either. Any ideas where can I find him?

Making the quest which needs you to contact him active in your journal will place a marker at his exact location, and track him

Its the only reason I haven't disabled quest compass markers as NPCs wander all over the place.

The thing is I don't have a quest to track him down. I need him to train me in Sneak.

this is the catch with advanced training, once you have found them the first time and met their requirements the quest goes away and you are left with the problem of tracking down npcs who can sometimes have a huge area in which they hang out without returning to the same place. The only advice I can give is to collect stuff which gives you the biggest life detect radius you can find then literally commit a spiral search starting from a central point and spiralling outwards, always remembering to scan every direction looking out for unidentified life blobs...
