Help With Thieves Guild Quest

I am at the section where i need to put the bust in Myvrnas cupboard, i have 2 problems

1. when i try to put the item in the cupboard it says i cannot take quest items out of my inventory

2. the gaurds are trying to kill me cause i stole alot and cant pay it back so when i talk to hyrmonies lex wont he try to kill me instead of talk to me?

First of all, you are using the wrong cupboard. It happened to me the first time too. Look for the cupboard on the left side of her shack, the one labeled <Her Name>'s Cupboard. IF you cant pay your bounty, go steal a lot of stuff, or go caving, and sell stuff , break into town at night, avoid gaurds, get on roof tops if you ahve too, find your fence sell your stuff, adn then run.

It's actually the one on the right side, but yes, it has her name on it. When you click on the cubord it will automaticly put it in there.
