What level are your characters?

Post by OblivionKing187 »

Hi everybody. With all the excitement out of Oblivion im just wondering what you all have been doing and what point of view are you experiencing it out of, The eyes of a dark elf mage? The end of a Nord's hammer? or perhaps the silent footsteps of a stealthy wood elf? :D

Well I've been having a blast with oblivion. Theres still a few things I miss from good ole morrowind though. Levitating, unarmored skills, and spears were a few things.

Anyhow, I trully was going to revisit my roots as an imperial but with a few twists and turns.. I was pulled into life as a High Elf. Life as an Altmer is good. ( I do bump my head here and there being so darn tall hehe )

I'm a level 40 Arch-Mage (my own title :P ) I specialize with Destruction, Restoration, Conjuration, as well as blades and heavy armor. My character still grows a skill higher everyday and im proud of him thus far. The spells are incredible. I love blowing people up in the ceiling and against walls with my spells and scorching vampire rubbish that blocks my path! Yar! :D I have branched out a whole bunch with misc skills like block, armorer, acrobatics, and mercantile. Money is good loot is better. Things are looking good. I couldnt be happier taking it one new adventure at a time. I hope to hear and learn about some of your characters as well!

My first chr was a Redguard warrior type.
Its lvl 21 and I have completed the Fighter guild and Arena and the Main quest, plus almost all of the misq quest.

It was an ok experience. Not as much RPG like as Morrowind. I miss the amount of lore, that made MW really good IMO.
And I also feel it has a lower replayability.

I tried making a pure mage. But, since I feel I have done most of the quest in the game, there would only be the mage guild left for that character.
So, I have made a mage/assassin type now, so I can do the DB quest line and the Mage guild. And perhaps the thieves guild if I want.
Its lvl 3 now.

Level 26 now, my own custom class, a cross of Mage and Warrior with a twist :p

Have done MG, almost done with FG and Arena, just joined TG and DB plus haven't bothered with the MQ past the Temple. Not to mention many misc quests. I've probably finished quite a few of those, maybe half. So lots and lots to do.

To be honest, I am really starting to miss some MW things. But I am willing to wait it out and see how it goes, with the mods that haven't even started properly. It may turn out fine ... though not spectacular, I am pretty sure of it by now.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

Im level 16 at the moment, a Dark elf who is the sneakiest darn thing you ever saw, I have been able to push monsters out my way when sneaking through caves looking for cheap loot, with out being detected, I use no illusion magic, however I do use quite a bit of alteration, destruction and restoration. I am basically a Dark Elf Assassin, I did not use the prebuilt assassin class but made my own, and wasted 3/7 of my major skills on things that werent what they were in morrowind (Mainly Alchemy, Alteration, and Mysticism).
At level 16 the only problem I have is being ripped to pieces by mountain lions and trolls after coming out of a cave that has been recently purged of all mauraders, Vampires, and blind monks that infested the place.... I plan to stop leveling at twenty, seeing as some of my loot now is too expensive to sell, except to one merchant who isnt available to just any client, or at just any time of day.
If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.
