I can't get past this mess in the Bleak Flats Cave. Do you have any sugguestions on how to complete this quest?

Wait until later before you try. Vampires in numbers tend to be intimidating, and stones whose activation can kill you as a side effect at lower levels are no fun, either.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
