Corruption of conscience *SPOILERS*

Post by Ashen »

I give up! Has anyone solved this part, in Cheydenhal ?

*SPOILERS*

I can't find anything in the room, if I am in the right room at all! Ok, I went up the stairs, that are left to Garrus, sneaked successfully down the corridor, left, and on, then ended up at that head room with the bed, the locked chest wich had high difficulty, etc. Unlocked the chest, no evidence ... searched and searched, still no evidence ... does anyone know what the evidence is?!

I've looked for two hours last night, and again couple of hours now and am ready to burst.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

Okies, more problems...

Apparently there should be a scroll or parchment on the desk ... only there isn't one which means this could be a bug. Not to mention that the person who found the parchment, despite of this, still doesn't get the quest solved once it is, but rather - insufficient evidence - when they bring it back. Gah. But I don't even have the parchment!

the book on the chest of drawers, on your right as you go into the room. Not sure if the scroll was under the book or in it but thats what triggered the quest info

If it is the mission i'm thinking of (hard to be sure without risking ruining another plot line for you) then you're seraching in totally the wrong building. Do you fancy detailing the mission a bitmore so I can be sure we are talking about the same misssion?

Okies, I've done it, took me loads of reloads.

I was in the right room (that building to the left of where Garrus is, when you're looking at him that is), just the letter wasn't there. Had to reload twice from the beginning of the quest to get it to appear.

Then I went to Garrus, with the letter, and lo and behold - insufficient evidence. Huh? The quest got stuck again. Tried reloading, nothing. Started the quest all over again by going way back in my saved game and now it is is enough, quest completed. Sheesh.

Thanks everyone!

interesting stuff, it makes sense now, you see Garrus wasn't in that room for me he was in a totally different building (but aparently goes into that room in the arly hours of the morning). The letter i found in the other room during the day time after making sre the dude who's room it was was elsewhere. It appears diferent times of day yield different availabilities for quest items/people
