Silver swords and ectoplasem (SPOILERS!)
In 1 of the fighters guild quests, u have 2 get ectoplasem, this quest would be easy in morrowind, but in cyrodil, silver weopens are hard to buy(for me anyways), but does any1 know where i there are ghosts to get ecto... or where u can buy it. AND... where can i but some silver weopens??

I think it has to do with your lvl. I'm lvl 6, and have just recenty found a silver mace, and a couple of silver arrows in random drops.
For ghost's, find ruins. There is one, for example, just north of where you leave the sewers for the first time.
And you don't really need silver. They can be killed with magic aswell, you start with one firedealing spell, which name I can't remember at the moment. It's tedious, because the damage is so low and if for not a magic adept, your mana will deplete rather quickly. So bring something to replenish your mana with, potions or those glowing blue stones, which convienently can be found in most ruins.

i'm just starting out and at level 2 and i have 2 silver longswords. i got them from one of the fighters guild buildings. there was a silver battle axe and a silver dagger in there too. can't quite remember which building it was, but i think it was the city in the bottom right of the map. sorry can't remember the name.
