How do u kill most ennemys?

Post by mr.goalieman »

i kill most of my ennemy with close range. I never use magic cause i run out of magicka too fast and its slow to cast spells. I like long range but end up running out of arrows and nives too fast.

Are you sure they aren't committing suicide because of your poor spelling? :)

I use magic.

ive adopted a strategy recently that I find is quite effective:
I shoot them in the head/torso to get their attention, next I cast spells at them until they either reach me or they die. Finally I A, pillage their corpse, or B, stab them like a maniac (with shortblades and a speed of 104, i have fun dancing around them) until they fall at wich point i pillage their corpse.

Also a fun way to remember fallen villians/townspeople:
Take all of their clothing and armor off of their body, even if you become overencumbered, next look down to where your feet should be.
Start to drop their armor/clothing (works best with armor), begin with boots and work your way up the body, ending with the cuirass.
Next place their weapons and other effects (as long as it is nothing you want/need) on top of that.
Step back ten paces and look at your monument. You may need to work around with the arrangment of the armor, all told it should stack up to about waist height.
If it was a particularly memorable fight or important NPC (i.e. Duke Dren) you may want to stack thier personal effects on top of a torch (if you look straight down and drop a torch, it will stand straight up adding about 3 feet of height to your statue).
If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

Many people can type 60 words in a minute without spelling one word wrong.

I just run up to them and beat them on the head using two enchanted steel dai-katanas. The first one has a cast-on-strike soultrap 79 seconds, the second has a cast-on-strike fire damage 31 points. I also have a glass claymore Magebane for backup.

I guess that makes me a slow typist, I type about 50 words a minute.

Meh, as for the damage thing, I take a weapon, and beat the tar out of the enemy, simple as that.

I always carry a long blade and a short blade with me, and have a wide variety of magic. So I basically just use everything.

I snipe. Magic is just for hiding or escaping. I don't do melee. You have to go near the enemy! That's dangerous.

Off topic posts have been deleted. Concerning spelling and punctuation, the forums are meant to be intelligible. If you (meaning anybody) can't take the time to do these things--even to use the spellchecker here--then why bother posting, at all? Go away, do something else, and come back when you have that time. And sufficient respect for everybody who is reading your message.

No replies, please.

Ah well.. Again then. I weaken whatever I intend to kill with magicka, like a home-made fireball or some poison with damage over time, then I just slash it till it stops moving with my longsword or my katana.

I've never ever tried shooting a bow on Morrowind. It looks awesome on the videos I've seen of Oblivion, so my next Morrowind character should be a marksman I guess ;)

I don't usually worry about block because I favour bows and two-handed swords a large percentage of the time.

On dealing with enemies though.. I did just make a nice set of rings..

*Scorcher's Prelude: Weakness to fire 39-40 points over 20 seconds at a range of 25 feet...
*Scorcher: deals 20 points of fire damage over 15 seconds with a range of 25 feet :D

Very handy on Solstheim in certain areas :p

I tend to prefer hitting things directly on. :D Spells cost a lot more magicka in the modded game I play, so they tend to be used less--by both my PC, and his opponents.

I thought magic in the unmodded game already took up enough magicka...

It's a lifestyle choice. :D The mods I use make some spells, like lengthy Levitation or Chameleon, impossible to maintain, while others simply become very expensive in magicka to cast. It's still possible to get off a few very nasty area damage attacks, but Damage Health is only possible on a small scale.

Mostly i level my character up with pure melee and some magic to add some spice. Then comes the part when when i like to use magic to see what i can do to monsters before they fall on the ground dead.

Recently i am fond of Throwing stuff, thus i voted for that.I even discovered something quite efficent on my journeys in Mournhold:first equip a throwing weapon, any will do.Then throw it and at the same time get the shortcut to your Magic spell. You have to be Really fast, and it is difficult to manage on your first tries.

Doing that you will get Throwing knives that are enchanted with flames.

I'm mostly a melee person, but from time to time, I'll use throwing weapons (usually knives and stars, darts seem kinda lame  ). It all started that time I had to clear out the Redoran Manor for the Telvanni: I was playing with combat enhanced, so when I took my first swing at one of the guards, it cut his entire arm off  . After that, I worked my way on the second guard, and right as I impaled him and broke my sword off inside him, another guy burst through the door in front of me. I was all out of melee weapons, so I whipped out some ebony throwing stars and sent a little barrage at him like Noob Saibot does in Mortal Kombat  After that intense coolness, I realized that there's more to life than just blades and blunt objects ;)
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

I've never had much luck mixing magic in with my weapons. My character right now has Restoration as a major skill and alchemy as a minor skill. If I'm going into a tough fight, i'll use my magic to beef up my stats right before the fight, and suck down restore health potions during the fight as necessary. I use axes or Long Blades for combat, although my blunt weapon and short blade skills are also fairly high, since i trained both up to 50 or so to use Keening and Sunder. After a fight I use a restore magicka potion and then cast a few restore health and fatigue spells to get my character back on its feet again.
