Can't max up spells

Hey there.

I'm playing TLC with a perfectly good character and have everything maxed out.
Over time, I collectet close to 100000 XP but I cannot max up three of my spells - turncoat, drain life and berserk will not go to level four and only stay on level three. The remaining bar at the XP-changer is red at there spells.
Does this have to do with being good?

You have to be evil

to be able to max those out.
