Hmm... I should add something smart in the Dictionary as well... :p

Depends... I don't think that is very likely though :D

I'm working on something to add in the dictionary :p I have no clue what that will be though.

I'd need a dictionary for just one metal-related topic :D
But it is a good idea though :p

Good morning.
It is a very beautiful day here, but I'm on call and can't go out. I got to bed very late and I have to be at least semi-awake now. People staying with me haven't surfaced yet and won't for a while I think. So I'm going to list what I saw and heard yesterday. Feel free to skip this post :)

Treats from yesterday were:

Fies Ross. Young musicians from one of the main teaching set ups, based in Rosshire. Full of confidence and excitement. The future is bright

Robin and Bina Williamson. Robin Williamson has built himself a real life as a bard. How he do that in these days?

Gypsy Talisman. A gypsy band from Moscow. Very different from music I am used to. Interesting. Not sure if I liked it

Luar na Lubre. Massively exciting traditional music and left wing politics from Galicia (a bit wasted on us cos of the language but they got the gist across)

OK and Josephine combined with 4 traditional musicians from Scotland. OK and Josephine are a pop group from St Malo. They had met the Scots there and come to play fusion for us. It was surprisingly good. And very funny seeing the different approach to stage presentation. Josephine very seductive in style, Scots musicians (also young women) all looking shy while singing, and uncomfortable with the show style. But the music worked really well

Lau. 3 marvellous musicians each of whom I have seen with at least one other band, now combined to make impressive jazz/folk music. Twas great

Scratch big Ceilidh band calling themselves Thunderstruck but really just a few each of the members of other bands. No pressure on them and they were having such a lot of fun. So were we, dancing and listening till very late.

It's all done, now, though. :( Back to normal life and no more news of the contemporary folk scene from me.
I know that is disappointing, but don't cry. There's always next year :D

Stuffed myself full of seasonal treats and candies today - I expect to double in weight by the end of the holiday :p Also robbed $200 USD off miscellaneous relatives in the popular (for kids) custom of giving out red packets - one of them seems to have too much money for his/her own good and gave out $120 in one go :speech:
