Hello,
I'm playing through the NWN original game campaign and I'd like to become a dwarven defender.
I'm currently a level 3 fighter and I've just leveled up.
Yet, the option to choose the dwarven defender sub-class is greyed-out at my level up selection screen and I'm not sure why.
As for meeting the requirements: my alignment is lawful good, I am a dwarf, I have the feats dodge and toughness, and my base attack from my character profile is "Attack bonus: +7" without having any gear equiped.
Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

Base attack bonus isn't determined by strength + attack + anything else.
Base attack is what you get by class. The earliest you can get Dwarven Defender is 8th level, as a fighter gains a base attack earliest at 7th level.
Hope that answers it for ya
