Feminist Game Glitch!? (small Peragus spoiler)

Post by eskilla »

For some reason the game won't let me make any sort of male character anymore. I used to have one, which I deleted, made two different female games, and then any male character I made would glitch when T3-M4 gets taken out by *not telling*. When I save, turn off and reload, my character is right where T3 was, somehow he got teleported there. Then when I leave the area, T3 is sitting on the floor taken out by some kind of ice beam and I can't move him at all!
I have the game directly saved to my hard drive and I'm wondering if re-borrowing it from my friend and saving it again might help? Has anyone had anything like this? it seems pretty major!

What happens if you don't save and turn off? Maybe you could try completeing Peragus, at least as far as the point where you meet up with T3 again after the Harbinger all in one go?

I'm also curious about T3 being immovable 'in some kind of ice'. Can you actually see ice (like you can when the fire extinguishers attack you), or is it just that you can't move?

Nope, when I am automagically teleported, I'm stuck by the same energy fields, and without any tools to remove them. As for the ice, it's just like fire extinguisher ice, there's even a red 'x' over T3 and he can't move.

Not that it matters, as for the first time in 10+ tries the game didn't glitch! Oddly enough, the only thing I changed was that I didn't kill all the droids before hitting the overide switch. Go figure.
Thanks for trying to help me though :)

Hmm. Uninstall and reinstall? (when I tried that, it didn't delete my save games, though please don't take may word for it if they matter to you...YMMV)
