So after dinking around with my assassin and missing all kinds of things, learning what spells are useful and that rot, I'm thinking about re-starting with a monk and the dualing him to a mage.
I figure since neither can use armor it should be a good match.
My questions:
What's a good level to switch to the mage at?
What specialization would go best with the monk?
Would it be better to go with the Kensai?
Dualing Mage and Monk?
Oh God..., people do you ever take a look around you?

"Everybody wants to see justice done, to somebody else."
It is funny you would bring that up... playing a mage, i've always stayed away from the contact spells like shocking grasp. in bg1 i tried making a decent h(f/m) that only used touch spells, but never really got into the charater.
while reading that post, i started day dreaming of the posiblities of a monk / touch spell sorcerer. maybe i'll go home tonight and hack a monk to include some touch spells as innate abilities
