*SPOILER* glitch on Onderon........

Post by MoragTongAgent »

Hey Sith Lord players,

I have the game for the X-Box and I am currently playing the Sky Ramp on Onderon mission, where you must divide your party and choose your characters...I'm already past that, past the Sith Lord Tomb mission. So, here I am, on the Sky Ramp, past the first barrier, well I can't seem to get past the second barrier. Here is what happened... I turn off the first shield barrier, after playing the shoot-turret-mini-game, and then I walk up the ramp, after the first shield is down, kill all the guys, also after telling them to run, but they end up fighting me anyway, then as soon as I approach the second shield barrier up the Sky Ramp, a console near me explodes, caused by someone in the palace as security against me I learned earlier, which was kind of annoying, but anyway, I approach the second barrier, and then some sith guys behind it say some things and I can get to say something to them by option and I told them to do the smart thing and run away, which they did, and then a cutscene appears where two sith master guys kill one of the fleeing Vaklu Soldiers for cowardice and then they and the rest of the bad guys procede towards me, to the the second shield barrier... And that's it, I can't get past the second shield barrier... I don't have Bao-Dur in my group, so...it's not like I can smash the shield barrier down...duh!

Things I've done:

Gone back to the console, same console in the building where I shut down the first shield barrier, but there are no more options after I used all the options prior, which were two, the turrets and shut down the first shield barrier, to shutting the first shield barrier.

Mine the second shield barrier, doesn't work.

Attack the shield barrier with my lightsaber, doesn't work, instead a message comes up suggesting I use Bao-Dur, but I don't have in my party, duh!

So...can and will anyone please help me on this? Much appreciated if you could and would. Thank you.

P.S. - Does anyone know when The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be out for the X-Box? I enjoyed Morrowind and the two Expansions, except the CD got ruined by my X-Box, either that or some fool tried to clean the CD, and it got ruined that way... I read somewhere that Oblivion is already out...for the PC, but I haven't seen it in the stores... Anyway, also could someone please tell me if Oblivion will just be for the X-Box 360 or be compatible with both?

By the way, current party member listings...(*SPOILER*)

Hey Sith Lord fans,

By the way, I have, besides my own character (required), Kreia (required), and G0-T0. Bao-Dur was one of my choices for the Sith Lord Tomb mission, so of course he is unaccessable, duh! Help much appreciated, please. Thank you.

This doesn't have to do with KotOR II, so you should probably read up the list of forums to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and read through the threads there.

Mmm... strange as to your other question. Recently another person was having this problem here, and your at the second force shield? It should lower on its own, but if you want, you could try throwing ion grenades at it. What I find starnge is that your lisghtsaber didn't do anything. Did you use the 'bash' option of the 'use lightsaber' option? If you character is twirling around like crazy at the shield, that means that he is bashing it, and the shield will go down eventually, unless it says impossible in the litte bar on top of the options.

If you have a lightsaber shouldnt you be able to disable the force barrier? I did and i never had Bao-Dur with me at the time.

I wonder if you have a glitch? I loaded up a couple save games and tried it; when I used the terminal, it lowered both barriers at once, I didn't have to lower the second one seperately.
