Is there any way to replace the main character in the middle of a (single player) game with another one? I've heard it's possible, anyone know how to do?

Yes it is possible(I think). I can't remember whether it comes under the save game file or something else but your characters are named 0,1,2,3,4 and 5. Your mian character if he was first in order would be character 0. Second=1 and so on.
Just swap charcters and make sure you rename it and you should be ok!!

Wrong!
The files in your save game folder are your character's portraits in the save game file. So by replacing these, you'll just get other portraits on the load/save screen.

It is quite easy. First, copy your saved game from your save folder into your msave folder. Load that game, starting a mplayer session. Now you can replace that main character of yours with whomever you wish. Start the game. save it again. quit, and repeat the process vice versa (copy the latter save from the msave folder to the save folder) and... voila! You done it!

It is guaranteed to work, tried it allready (just for the fun of it, I have no complains from my main characters, they kick ass )
