Possible bug

Post by Damuna_Nova »

When I try to rest in Icewind Dale it crashes the game.

This didn't happen the first two times I played it through, anyone got an idea on why this is happening?

Maybe...

I'm going to download Trials of the Luremaster to see if it sorts this out.

I'll be back if it doesn't.

Sorry...never heard of that problem or experienced it myself. Maybe you should just make a clean reinstall.

:\

The disk I used to install Heart of Winter was borrowed.

If I reinstalled i'd have to borrow the disk again. -.-

Oh, one question; how do you start Trials of the Luremaster?

I know it's started from the Whistling Gallows inn, but what npc/conversation choice starts it?

Talking to the halfling (Hobart Stubbletoes IIRC) by the fire starts the quest.

Thanks, didn't realise you had to do it on a completed HoW save.

You don't, actually. All you need to do is visit the Inn after completing the Gloomfrost Caverns and going to the barbarian camp again.
