NPC expectations for sequel
NPC expectations for sequel
In BG II we are able to choose between new and some old characters. For a sequel, which char. you would like to see again with you and, for new characters, which class you wish them to be??
I think a good thief and a monk would be nice. I'd also like to see again aeire, viconia and korgan

Edwin, mighty founder of the Council of Mages; Co-founder of the Shadow Mages
Sorcery and Shadow together as one, the arcane and the dark united. Through our knowledge and skill none can stand against us. We are as one, infallible and invincible. The Shadow Mages.

Imoen and Jaheira are essential, Viconia highly desirable. I'd like to see Shar-Teel return from BG1. A monk would be a great asset. I have never much liked Edwin for all his great statistics. I would like to see some new weapons too--maybe some nanchukas for the monk. Another essential: More romance options for female characters.

It would be interesting if we colud be able to resurrect one of the char.....i choose Xzar (i loved his lines in BG I)....meeting again Shar-Teel would be nice: "Hey girl, you with your silly sword, would you mind fighting a crom-fayered man???"

Me: Oooh, ooh, I want Aerie, I want Viconia, I want Minsc, I want Yoshimo, I want-
Bioware: No son, you can't have that many. You'll have to choose one.
Me: Ahhh...do I have to?
Bioware: Yes son...
Me: Hmm...I want Aerie.

Magus, mighty conjurer, and summoner of hordes of...magical flying swords

OMG!! Aerie!! Aerie in the next sequel. I'm having flash backs right now of 'if I had my wings'.
Yoshimo , Minsc , Nalia , Imoen and the rest I can take but Aerie NOOOOOO.

I was very disappointed by Coran's death in BG2.He was one of the best NPCs in BG1-Dex 20,perfect archer.I hoped they would put him back in BG2,but they did it the wrong way. They could have made him a ranger-archer kit in BG2.
They could bring Shar-Teel as a female barbarian.Quayle was also a good NPC (cleric/illusionist)-they choose to replace him with Aerie who is almost the same (cleric/mage).Tiax was in Spellhold but i wonder why there was no option to recruit him after you freed the captives.
As it seems Minsc is the only NPC that is going definetely to be put in an expansion/sequel.Imoen is likely to be,as Viconia too.But they must add a thief or a thief kit-they were plently of them in BG1 (Safana,Alora,Skie) and only one (Yoshimo)in BG2.

jaheira and minsc, definitely. i dont really care about anyone else.
a new fighter (preferably human) could be good.
how about a new class of evil paladins - like a fallen paladin but with evil cleric spells, can only be lawful evil, etc.

... and you know it's true!

Well I'd like to see Aerie, Imoen and Minsc with an extra proficiencie which makes Boo being ther and helping you fighting (Like cerebus).
What would be really cool also would be to have the possibility to be a vampire
Vampire :
---------
- All class available (even paladin, it would be great to have to kill innocent to live but being unable to do it because of your alignment and so slowly become less powerfull).
- Some powerfull habilities
- Great obligations :
- sucking blood every 3-4 days
- not going out on daylight
- ...
Did you say impossible to code ??
