Condition Symbols on Character portraits

Post by bariumdose »

Does anyone have a detailed description of the various conditions that can affect your party members?

I was playing the game last night and got pummeled by lesser shadows who inflicted Bad Luck on certain characters. I know generally that Bad Luck effects include a negative modifier applied to attack rolls and to-hit(?). But the user manual doesn't explain the exact effect of this condition and other conditions.

Can anyone help?

I think Bad Luck is similar to the Greater Malison spell effect (only on a single character). Are there any other specific effects you want to know about? There is a big list of them, so it's quite difficult to go into specifics on that many.

Ahhh, I think I got a workaround

You pointed me to a possible workaround. If the enemy's special attack effects mimic the effects of a spell, then I guess I could just search the spellbook for a similar spell. Thanks.

Yeah, the Luck spell should counter the Bad Luck effect, but I don't think the Bad Luck effect is that bad and wears off quite quickly anyway.
