Missing levels from wc3.

Post by Whittzkrieg »

Before buying war craft 3 i had a demo of it. The demo was the prologue but it was extended. The orcs get shipwrecked on an island where they find the trolls. First you destroy a human outpost on the island, then you get captured by knolls and fight through their dungeon. Finally, you have to protect the ships being repaired at your base. But when I bought the european version of the game these levels were missing. I loved the level where you destroyed the human outpost but it was not in the complete version.

Anyone know why these levels are missing?

These sound a lot like some levels in the Orc Camaign.

In any case, it was a demo more based around how the game was going to look and feel. I am unure if they would base actual levels later in the game around them. :)

Did you play the prologue campaign? Exodus of the Horde? It's not like what you described in the demo, but it might be the game version of it.

They added those levels in the demo for more feel. Otherwise, the demo would ahve been complete crap.

The shipwrecked part also sounds a lot like the bonus Orc campaign that became part of the Frozen Throne expansion. Whether this is true with the European or not, I don't know.
