I sided with the shadow thiefs, but heared aran has boots of speed, Can i kill him when i get back from the underdark?

there are mutliple topics on this board abotu how to kill him, the problem isn't so much killign him as it is killing arkanis grath who shows up and destroys your entire party. search on this board for topics with arkanis in the title...
I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

Can't you just pickpocket Linvale or is he actually wearing the boots? Also, who is Arkanis Grath?
