if memory serves, the quest takes plaace just outside of the fargrove gates....

You just have to talk to either guild to get the next quest. The game is set up so that you have to talk to the guild twice. Once to complete a previos quest ( deliver the sword), then again to actually get the option to start your next tier.

Just so you know, if you do manage to get the quest, BE VERY THOROUGH IN SEARCHING. The guy you must kill does indeed spawn near Fargrove. And If my memory serves correctly, it is near the fork in the road to Arindale where it goes off to Bolen Fields. Im not sure if this is only with a certain version, but if you go into fargrove without finding the marauder you you must kill, he will never spawn, there fore you can never finish the quest.
You stare upon the perch,
The sight forces your somach's lurch.
The sight you see,
Is Death glaring back at thee.
You gave it a hum,
You let it run,
Now all you see,
Is the mirror that bleeds.

You can only be one second tier fighter class. Your now a Fighter/Imperial, so you can't be a Fighter/Maraurder as well.

The walkthrough for classes:

http://www.gamebanshee.com/dungeonlords/classes.php

You get 2 first tier, 2 second tier (in the same guild), and a third tier (in the same line)

You also can't be an additional Eastern Class i.e. Monk, Shugenja, or Budoka .

Try adept/paladin. or Mage/warlock if your looking to melee.

Too bad the quest guys spawn. I'd like to kill 'em all. :p

nope, sorry.

I hate to add pain but, duel wield is so awesome. When I found out you could DW and use a shield I quit my level 20 some Char and started over. Now I'm Deathlord/Celestial. I just melted through Ulm and Trial of Elders. AWESOME!

I'm still not sure if Medium Duel is worthwhile. I have'nt found any Medium Weapons better that my current Light Weapon. Samurai might be the way to go. Stop there and add the third tier in another class. (i.e. Warlock or Crusader)

I'm about to post my new Char. pics on that thread. Check him out
