Dialogue problem with matron mother

Howdy, I'm a first time poster, long time lurker.

I've been playing bg2 for years and started playing again recently with a solo project (berserker dualed to cleric). I've progressed through the game up to underdark without a hitch when this strange problem sets in.

**spoiler alert**

I just just the assassination mission for phaere where she wants Solaufein killed. After completing that I'm asked to meet the matron mother in the temple.

Now here's the problem, the matron mother only gives me one line "What is this? Who is this impertinent fool who comes before me and dares speak?" when she should be giving the quest to do one of the 3 dungeons in underdark . I have the latest version and all the patches etc, along with the baldurdash fix pack, besides the fix pack my game is completely unmodded. It should be noted that this an mp game, I recently started playing underdark with my little brother, we did the dwarf quest without any problems, even though he wasn't transformed into a drow via the white dragon, the other drow don't mind and the plot continued normally up until we met the matron mother.

Don't talk to the matron mother, talk to Phaere. She will introduce you to the MM. Drow society is strictly hierarchical and you shouldn't initiate conversations with your betters (especially if you are male).

As I remember, Phaere is supposed to meet you with the matron mother in the temple. However, after leaving the female fight society and telling the party to meet her with matron mother in the temple she hasn't shown up. I searched the entire temple and the female fighter society and phaere isn't anywhere to be seen.

Have you completed the Solaufein task and got hold of his cloak?

OK, if she's not showing up in the temple, she might have gotten blocked during your last conversation. Make sure she has a clear path to the door when you talk to her.

If this doesn't help, or if you don't have a convenient prior save game, you might try

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("PHAERE")

when you get into the temple. I am assuming you know how to use the CLUA cheats...

Yes, I wouldn't be asked to meet matron mother otherwise.

Okay, I just found phaere, she's still stuck in the female fighter guild entrance. I'm just going to restart mp with my little brother, thx for the help.

I am having the same problem but I'm not in a MP game. I tried going back to the Female's fighter guild but she is not there, infact she isn't anywhere to be found

. I treid CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("PHAERE") and says file is not found. I only have the baldurdash fix pack installed, no other mods. If anyone could give me the CLUA command to fix this problem it will be greatly appretiated.

I managed to search the web some more and found the command I was looking for. There are multiple instances of Phaere I used CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("UDPHAE01") to fix this problem. Thanks for the update. I usually look up the creature codes in ShadowKeeper when I need them, so I didn't know what Phaere's was off the top of my head. I should have mentioned that there might be more than one possibility. Where did you find the code, by the way? I would like to have that resource available, if it lists various NPC instances.
