Just installed KotoR on a new computer-- less than a month old-- and the game is crashing everytime it tries to or loads the Dantoine (sp) mission. It's says that's ther's a problem with OpenGL. I ran a scan and the game says I have 1.3 and I need at least 1.4 and a Non-Generic Windows Open GL driver. Well here's the problem, I can't find 1.4 for my card. I'm runing a intergrated SiS 760/964 chipset and I've not been able to find it annywhere. Anyone have a idea of where to look? I tried Compaq and I tried nvidia, but both of them don't have support for this chipset yet.
Thanks for any help

This sounds like more of a tech question, so I'm moving it to the tech forum--but I'm leaving a redirect, so if anybody wants to answer here, the question will still appear in the KotoR forum. Good luck with this.

It's doubtful that the integrated SiS chipset would be able to support KoTOR. After, I have some reservations as to whether it should qualify for a 3D accelerator at all.
That said, you can try updating the drivers for your motherboard at SiS' website. If I recall correctly, OpenGL comes with graphics drivers, so that would update your OpenGL version, but still, the hardware capability of your graphics crad* is extremely dubious.
*: Intentional typo

It actually ran fine, not a problem; no stalls, no crashes, no hiccups, crispt clean graphics. Before I ran it I did a system scan and the game said the computer passed all the benchmarks-- if it hadn't I would never have run the game in the first place. After the game started the Dantooine level the first time-- it got up to the point where you are told you have to talk to teh council-- it crashed and I ran a system scan again and it passed. Then after the third crash-- this time it crashed at the end of the cut-movie, the system scan only kicked up one conflict: OpenGL 1.4 needed. It hasn't complained once about the chipset just the driver.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check them out now, see if it helps.

Crashes
I suspect your system may have an incompatibility between drivers. This is actually an old problem rearing its head. Check your video version then go to NVida or whoever and see what directx to use for your video version. It should be compatible but even 3r'd party pc develper make mistakes.
If your not sure update directx and then install (download) the matching video driver for that directx.
