What are some good usermade modules and where to find them? I've downloaded a couple from NWVault, and at least the Aielund Saga parts 1-3 was exellent. But there too many of them, I don't want test a dozen of modules and find them all crappy.

It may be I'm very subjective in recomending them, and if I am it's for sentimental reasons (they were the first computer RPG games I played, and one of my first experiances with RPG at all) but Pool of Radiance and Curse of Azure Bonds were rather good modules and the people who made them followed the old SSI computer games rather well. So you may enjoy walking down the memory lane (provided you're old enough to remember those playing those games on old Commodore 64 or Amiga computers).

Note: You may check how good those people did there job by comparing these modules with walktroughs of original games that were recently done on Gamebanshee here and here.

Yes, I'm old enough (27). Actually I played all those SSI Gold Box games through (except the Savage Frontier ones) with C64 and Amiga back in 90-94. Those were the times indeed. But that's not what I'm actually looking for, at least not with the lower level games since the items and areas are somewhat boring in todays terms. Is there a remake module of Pools of Darkness or Dark Queen of Krynn?

And I'd prefer modules with more roleplaying content over hack'n slash.

No but the guy who made Curse just finished making Secret of the Silver Blades (he ask our help testing it) so we can hope...

There is Champions of Krynn in two parts. Here is part 1 and here is part 2.

Dark Queen of Krynn

Do you know if the same guy did Dark Queen of Krynn? I am playing it, after playing Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure bomnds and Secret of the Silver Blades.

But in Dark Queen of Krynn, the scroll of protection from Dragrons breath does not work. In the other games, you can camp and after doing magic, look on the display and see it as a permanent spell. NOt so on DQK.

I am playing it on the MAC as it was tossed in as a fifth game on the MAcsoft Gold Box series, although it is only vaguely related (by the same set of rules) to the others.

Has anyone played it in the PC version and does it work there or is this just a bug in the Mac version?
