Problems in the Vale of Shadows

Post by Bentson »

I have trouble in the Vale of Shadows. I can not open the door to the last area (#6 in the walkthrough)! I have the sanctum-key from area #1, but the door is still locked? What am I doing wrong??

area 1?

The item is called "Sanctum key".

This is the right key to open the door to Kresselack's tomb?

Why is the door still locked when I have the key?
I only need to have it in my inventory, right?

Or does my game have an error?

Please help me solve this probably ridicilous case.

I've had trouble in the Vale before as well. You need several keys to enter this underground maze. Thoroughly search the surrounding tombs first for the other key or two you need, then you need to open all the doors you can once you enter Kresselack's tomb. From there you'll get a holy symbol and another key or two for the other doors. I think you need a total of five and they are definately around, but just make sure the character you're using to open the door has all the keys in his/her inventory.

Hi

No need to say sorry, I actually screwed up a little in my first post, so your question was good, until I edited my blunder... (cough!)

Yes, I have that key, but thanks to kind assistance here, from both Bluestorm and Erenor, I seem to miss a key...

I will now go seek this key !

The door won't open

Okay, I'm new at this & I may have replied twice to your question. It is not a key you need if you are talking about the decorated door which is flanked by "windows" full of gears. There is a lever about 50 feet behind you as you face the door. I am away from the game right now but think the lever may be on a pillar. Just scan around with your cursor and the lever will pop up blue like other hidden objects.
