I pretend to play guitar but I suck. I play a little blues, some light stuff like James Taylor, and old Grunge songs from when I was in school. I own three beautiful collectible guitars though. They are my prized possessions.

Aye, I have always wanted to play bass, but never found the time to. I just would rather play my sax.

I've been playing guitar for about 17 years. Play mostly blues based rock type stuff these days, but was heavily into playing metal when I first started.

I've played the air guitar to AC/DC since I was 4 years old. I'm awesome at it too. :p

Seriously, I can't play any instrument, although, I did prove I was able to learn how to play piano if I decided to devote myself to it years ago. I just don't have the attention span to do so, or the coordination to do so well.

I played the guitarr for a short period when I was teenager, that is during the Pleistocene. At that time, I used to play punk, new wave and similar, like Sex Pistols, Buzzc0cks, Velvet Underground, etc. I am sure I was horrible. :D

I play guitar, but I'm still a beginner. I've been playing for a year now and most of the time I'm just practising the chords. However, I know some songs of Bob Dylan, the Beatles, U2 and Acda & De Munnik, but you probably don't know them since they're Dutch ;)

@CE: I'm sure you wasen't horrible, just trying to play that kind of music is fun, but I thought you were more into classic music.

I've played guitar for about 5 years now, and bass for about a year. i'm not very good, but i also mostly play extreme metal where the only thing you need to do is to play fast... got a beautiful 7 stringed ibanez guitar that i just have to brag about, it's simply wonderful to play on...
Well, now you're just making stuff up, you stupid shaved monkey.

hehehe, playing 7stringed guitar isn't that hard, it's like playing a 6stringed one, just that you have an extra string to play with. which is great if you wanna tune in B and still be able to play normal chords... i've almost only played on my guitar the last years, but whenever i play on a 6 stringed guitar, it actually feels just as natural as my own guitar...

Holy Diver(dio)
fade to black(metallica)
A Van Halen medley(that one not so easy)
and a song with real power. this is a metal festival...
and maybe a song we wrote ourself. anyone good lyric writers here??

I used to write lyrics for a band in high school, and used to write poems all the time, I haven't been able to the last 3 years though. Horrible writer's block. It's hard to write lyrics for a tune without hearing too. I don't know if you'd get good results without recording what you play and sending it to someone if you wanted someone here to write some for you.

Well yeah, I write lyrics, but I don't know whether they fit your kind of music. They're kinda singer/songwriter lyrics (like Bob Dylan, although I'm not nearly as good as he is off course :p )
