hello, I've played nwn singleplayer many times but I am very new to multiplayer and I am not very good at character builds that work there.
I want to make a fighter/wm + something else but I'm not sure what. What I am sure of is taking wm to lvl 7 because I don't see any reason taking it further. My question is; what else should I take? Should I just put the other 33 lvls in fighter or is there a better solution? fighter/wm/ + ranger, monk or rogue perhaps?
fighter/wm... and?

ranger - won't add much to your build, and it will further require more wis and dex to an already stretched build. otoh it carries the same ab bonus so it won't hurt your build much. (champion of torm, paladin or barbarian might be a better fit)
monk - see above, however evasion and in class tumble are pretty cool, if kamas are not your chosen weapon you lose more of the monk's abilities. still you lose a little off the top w/ your ab.
rogue - tempting. sneak attack, evasion, in class tumble + many other skills that can be usefull (stealth, persuasion, appraise, search, umd) also allows for an in class 4 intimidate. it's clearly better than the above choices, at the same time it waters down your fighting aspect (lower ab)

If your char is neutral or good - take Champion of Torm. Quite popular mix and quite good. You get many feats, some special abilities and boost to saving throws.
If your char is a dwarf - Dwarven Defender would be good choice.

thx for replying. I'd like this to be a offensive character. The server I am playing on requires your character to be a level 30 fighter to get dev. critical and I already told you about lvling wm to 7. So that's 3 lvls I'm not sure what to do with. Oh, and I'll be using either scythe's or greatswords I haven't decided yet.
I hope that info can be of some help

I just made a scythe wielding Fighter/WM and got ahold of a keen scythe. I do a critical attack almost every round, and with great cleave alone, I can do some serious damage with the chance of criticals to everyone around me with it. The damage I put out on the tougher enemies is nasty too. I've nailed the blue dragon with 2 criticals in one round and dropped him with just that first round in HOTU the first level of undermountain.

"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"

If there is no items that gives evasion and stuff like that go for the 3 levels in rogue. It would give you 2d6 sneak attack, which with a scythe will become 10d6 on a crit. The rogue also gives evasion, which is a life saver agains spellcasters. You get Unncanny dodge, but I don't see the greater use of that. If you save some skillpoints and use them to max out Tumble once you hit the rogue levels, (better take the last level of rogue when you become 40) you can get over 80 AC without overpowered items.
