SOU Deekin's inventory glitch

I can't get to Deekin's inventory. I'm in the interlude. Also, I can't make him leave the party, or rest with me, either. I've tried reloading, jumping to next part of interlude, etc. It's not working itself out. Anyone heard of this before? It's a pain because I set him up to use his crossbow and now he's out of arrows. Not to mention he won't rest so his spells and bard song is used up and won't replenish. So basically he just follows along and wastes my healing spells.

i also had the same problem, i just put up with it and killed on my own.. with a useless lizzard following behind me
