Chad??? (Mild Spoilers)

Okay... I have just found the unfortunate Chad in the Catacombs
Question: Where exactly can I find the Vargoiulle that did him in?? I don't seem to see any and his "Along this passageway" isn't exactly helpful

I know whats happening, I just want to find where the thing is that I need to kill for his quest.

If I remember, they are in the passageway that leads to the Crypt of Dismemberment - northwest.

I misread your question. As Wayfarer suggests, the ones that killed him are in a corridor to the northwest. Only backout before killing them all if you want to gain experience by killing more, as they will continue to respawn. Once you've made it to the end and killed every vargoiulle, they'll cease appearing.
