Just a question

Post by Lonelypilgrim »

I just started to wonder...If i go to the altar of Moonridal, and i present the Black Diamond, why doesn`t he accept it?My aligment is good,yes,+40 or so.If i don`t get Moonridals protection then i can`t pray to the god near the swamps,i don`t remember the name anymore though.Could someone just put a link or give some advice please?

You're probably offering the wrong sacrifice to the god, they will always accept your offerings unless you've got the wrong item.

Then again I'm checking my print outs... you are in *The* Ancient Temple and not an ancient temple?

Hrm it is possible that you might have the wrong alignment but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter, since I've completed the full circle with good alignment.

Hrm ok then there is one thing that is possible either you have the wrong alignment or that you have offered an opposing god recently.

Some gods do not like other gods and if you've offered their enemy a sacrifice then there may curse or such involved. Really not sure about your situation in particular since it's never happened to me, what other gods have to sacrificied to?

it was quinda a long time ago but i don`t think i had sacrifised to other gods before. If the quest to go and get the altar stone with Murgo is a god quest then i have done that.

Did you get the book from the bloke at the Uni, and copy his chart? There are benefits to making the offerings in a certain order. If you want the details, this should help http://www.gamebanshee.com/arcanum/walk ... ntgods.php

Gods

You must present the gifts in a specific order to get the blessing. Did you go to Kree before the Ancient Temple? Your log should give you a clue. If its in the wrong order your log for blessing should show the previous blessing was also cancelled. You can find Black Diamonds in the Stonecutter Mine.

Black Diamond

You mean the Ancient Maze????

Yes it has one black diamond but the only place I've seen other black diamonds is Stonecutters Mine and Bangellian Deeps. The black diamonds are just laying around in Stonecutters Mine.
