Battle of the NPC's

Hello, I decided to start a post to find out which characters seem to be the favourites, although I already noticed how certain NPC's seem to be quite popular (Minsc & Coran for an excample). Underneath, I wrote down pairs of NPC's, and it is up to you to say who of the two NPC's you like more.
The title of this board may be a bit misleading, because I'm not asking who of the two would win if these fella's would actually fight against each other. It's more about their personality and their skills, just who of the two you prefer.

I've tried to pair them by looking at their class and also a bit by alignment. Yet, some of the couples may seem a bit unlogical to you. Also, I couldn't let Khalid take part, because I had no one left to pair him up with. So for that, I apologize big time for all the Khalid-fans out there...

You also forgot Eldoth and Garrick, anyway I havent tried any of the two.

Some easy choices and some hard ones there mate!

Jaheira or Faldorn -> Jaheira. Easy choice. Faldorn turns up much later, and is a pain.
Imoen or Safana -> Imoen for good aligned PCs, Safana for Neutral. Kill both of them if evil.
Edwin or Xzar -> Both if possible. Edwin if not.
Kivan or Coran -> Kivan. I don't like Coran. And he turns up too late.
Kagain or Shar-Teel -> Both if evil, but if I had to choose, then Kagain.
Dynaheir or Xan -> Dynaheir. But sometimes Xan just for the comidic value.
Ajantis or Minsc -> I like to have both in a good aligned party. Minsc would slightly get the edge due to Boo!
Yeslick or Branwen -> Branwen. Yeslick turns up too late.
Tiax or Montaron -> I love Tiax! But he also turns up really late. Monty is very good for starting out evil parties. I'd vote Tiax however.
Quayle or Viconia -> Viconia.
Alora or Skie -> Alora, especially for her disposition. But again, very late in the game.
Eldoth or Garrick -> Garrick. But both are not the best!

And I vote for Khalid because I quite like him too.

Jaheira or Faldorn - Jaheira (she is part fighter, ie more useful IMO)
Imoen or Safana - Imoen (your friend)
Edwin or Xzar - Edwin (he ain't nuts, and just better)
Kivan or Coran - Kivan (he's Dirty Harry w/ a Bow)
Kagain or Shar-Teel - Kagain (Dwarfs are grreat)
Dynaheir or Xan - Dynaheir (Xan is a baby)
Ajantis or Minsc - MINSC (he has Boo, but I still like Ajantis too)
Yeslick or Branwen - Yeslick (He is just better)
Tiax or Montaron - Never used either, but Tiax sounds humorous
Quayle or Viconia - Viccy! (She is a Drow, and way more useful)
Alora or Skie - Again, never used either, I can't even rember which one is which.
Eldoth or Garrick - I have only used Garrick to pickpocket, so I would have to say Garrick.

Dynaheir or Xan = Tough choice. Xan for his moody dialogues, Dynaheir for being Minsc's brain

Ajantis or Minsc = Not gonna make a choice. It's either both of them, or neither/
Yeslick or Branwen = Branwen
Tiax or Montaron = Tiax of course
Quayle or Viconia = Viconia
Alora or Skie = Neither.
Eldoth or Garrick = Neither.

Jaheira or Faldron - Jaheira( she is good fighter)
Imoen or Safana - Imoen( good thief if to train her well

Edwin or Xzar - Edwin( he is VERY good)
Kivan or Coran - Kivan( I just love his bow)
Kagain or Shar-teel - Kagain( I like his style)
Dynaheir or Xan - Xan( funny and can be good fighter in close combat with his Moonblade, if you train him well)
Ajantis or Minsc - Minsc( He is just nice!)
Yeslik or Banwen - Yeslik( He is very good)
Tiax or Montaron - Tiax( Montaron is boring and week)
Quayle or Viconia - Hard choice. But I chose Viconia( I love drow elves

Viconia zhan valsharess!( Viconia is a queen)
Alora or Skie - never played with those

Jaheira or Faldorn -> Jaheira,she was a fighter/Druid.She can equip heavy Armor and large shield.
Imoen or Safana -> Imoen,Oh, I love Imoen. She may turn Mage Class.
Edwin or Xzar -> Edwin, He was a best mage in BG1&2
Kivan or Coran -> Need Archer ,select Kivan ;need Backstrike, select Coran. But Coran can join you after the 4 Charper.
Kagain or Shar-Teel ->Shar-Teel,Kagain Str only 16,DEX was poor 12,but he had best con in BG.It was 20. Shar-Teel, str/dex were good,they had 18 up and down.
Dynaheir or Xan ->Xan, Moonblade,was very cool.
Ajantis or Minsc -> Minsc,He had best str (18/93), It was very useful.
Yeslick or Branwen ->Branwen, She had very better Cleric in light side.
Tiax or Montaron ->Montaron,he was a fighter/thief,and he can use bow.He also was a good archer
Quayle or Viconia -> Viconia,she had MR. It's very useful.
Alora or Skie -> I had had Imoen. I don't need select another thief.
Eldoth or Garrick -> Garrick.But Bard was poor class

Jaheira vs Faldorn -> Jaheira (better fighter with Khalid as her awesome travelling companion)
Imoen vs Safana -> Imoen (she seems more versatile and it's nice to have a childhood friend along for the ride)
Edwin vs Xzar -> Edwin (he's a better mage with his additional spells and higher INT and his surliness is endearing)
Kivan vs Coran -> Kivan (Coran is better with the bow, but Kivan has a fitting personality and can wear better armor if you don't mind him not sneaking)
Kagain vs Shar-Teel -> Kagain (Shar-Teel is better storywise, but her CON is aweful for a fighter and Kagain regenerates!)
Dynaheir vs Xan -> Xan (his attitude needs major adjusting, he's so down on everything! but who can beat the Moonblade as a mage weapon?)
Ajantis vs Minsc -> Minsc (he just seems more useful, since their stats are similar and Minsc can lug around a lot more stuff)
Yeslick vs Branwen -> Yeslick (hands down the dwarf wins this one, b/c he's a much better fighter and has great spellcasting ability)
Tiax vs Montaron -> Montaron (who can resist being promised bodily harm from this little guy on a daily basis...Napoleon Complex much?)
Quayle vs Viconia -> Viconia (she's just a better Cleric and the only Drow in the game!)
Alora vs Skie -> Skie (this spoiled child makes things more interesting than Alora ever could, and what's with the halflings rabbit's foot?)
Eldoth vs Garrick -> Eldoth (Garrick is terrified too easily and always seems to run away when that extra attack per turn is needed most)

I only know a few so i can't answer all of them;

Jaheira or Faldorn: Who's Faldorn?
Imoen or Safana: I prefer Imoen, especially as she can be dual-classed.
Edwin or Xzar: Xzar, easy to kill but knows better spells than Edwin.
Kivan or Coran: Kivan?
Kagain or Shar-Teel: Who are these?
Dynaheir or Xan: Dynaheir for magic (Xan can't cast magic missle), but Xan is better in combat because of the moonblade.
Ajantis or Minsc: Minsc because he has a hamster.
Yeslick or Branwen: Yeslick? Is Yeslick the Paladin?
Tiax or Montaron: Have'nt heard of Tiax.
Quayle or Viconia: Viconia because she's a Drow
Alora or Skie: Who are these?
Eldoth or Garrick: I don't like bards.
