How do you get to the murder trial on Manaan?

How do you get to the murder trial on Manaan? I took a look round the hotel, tried to Persuade and Force Persuade the owner, then left. After all, I had other stuff to do - (SPOILER) i.e saving the galaxy an' all...

you have to have Jolee in your party. Then when you get to the court-area a woman will stop you and it will begin.
