Silver Lady Quest

I went to Tarant to the Hall of Records and then to the Library to get the book written by Terwillager. This is when I remembered that I killed the librarian long ago in the game and stole all the books, however; i seem to have misplaced the important ones. What can i do about this? Is it absolutely necessary that I have the books? Can i get to Caladon without them?

you need to get the first book from the librairy to be able to know that the last copy of the real book is in caladon. weather or not theres another way to get it without the librarian, i dont really know cuz i never killed her.
