Vhailor-portrait and voice

Post by Fenix »

I've looked all over for a Vhailor portrait and voice set for bg2, but to no luck. Does anyone know where I can download these?
Thanks

If you want to find something without looking all over the net, try Google. :) I just entered two simple search terms ("vhailor" and "voice") and found a soundset at the first link. Google is your friend, and thankfully, it hasn't been bought by Microsoft yet.

So far, I haven't much luck finding a portrait of Vhailor that you could use in BG2. (However, I did find a photo of the voice actor, Keith David.) But I have a copy of PS:T, Infinity Explorer, and a photo editor, so I made some portraits you might like to use. There's no such thing as an "official" portrait of Vhailor for BG2, so as far as I'm concerned, mine is just as good as anyone else's. :) In the .ZIP file, I also included some of the original artwork from PS:T so you can crop it yourself if you'd rather have a different size or angle. Just remember that the file sizes have to be 38x60 for the face and 110x170 for the body. Unfortunately, I could not include the largest picture because of file size limitations.

It would be nice if you could find a way to change the paperdoll so that Vhailor would actually look like Vhailor in the game. Maybe Platter knows how to do that, so you might ask for his help in the Planescape: Torment forum here at Gamebanshee.

By the way, you could also create your own voice sets if you wanted to (I use Near Infinity to extract sounds and simply rename the files), but it's a tedious process, and it's nice to find a ready-made voice set. :)
