I've also had big problems with getting the Vic romance to start.
First time I went through the game I romanced Aerie. No problems there. But now I've experimented a little with parties created all by myself (i.e. created five characters and picked up Viconia to get the romance) and stuff like that, but she never talks to me.

That´s funny you sould have no problems. when you save her from the Fanatics did you take her in the Party, because if you did´t that had kill the romance, using "copper coronet Back rooms" also kills the romance and firting Aerie and/or Jaheira kill too.
Beyond that only cheat codes will help.

Sorry I dont Know any cheat codes to start a romance, But typing let´s say CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AerieRomance","Global",1) you get the next romance dialoge in the case of you are romancing Aerie.

If you have shadow keep go to the global setings (or something) and press. add put on the 1st box aeriematch and 1 on the other that work with aerie for me.(I made the entire romance in 15 minutes and I fell so USED by Her)
For the other just put their name and match i think that will work.
And dont be afraid to ask we are all newbies once. (hell just check my profile to see my join date)
