And what made you think that by posting in the forum to discuss questions about GameBanshee's structure, you would get an answer? :D

Did you ask Fhjull how to leave Baator? If you didn't you'll need to ask the pillar of skulls. After you've done one of the above go to the south-west. That's where the portal is, check Gamebanshee's walkthrough for the specific location. Once you are at the portal you will automatically pick up some obsidian and cut your tongue with it.

Reworded question about Baator/obsidian

I know where the portal is, and I asked Fhjul about how to get out of Baator,(cutting tongue with obsidian), I just can't find the obsidian. I played the game before when I first got it, and I just can't remember where it's located. I know that it's very small, and that it took me a while to find it the first time (years ago) What is weird it that when I looked back in the Nameless Ones' journal entries, I couldn't find any mention of how to get back from Baator even though I asked Fhjul, also, it's not an option of conversation with the Pillar of Skulls (my guy has 22W and 19I) I'll keep looking for it because I hate spoilers for something as simple as this, but it's driving me bonkers. thanks for any help ;)

Timayo,

You do not need to 'pick up' the obsidian. Once you walk to where the portal is, a dialogue box will open saying something like, 'cut your tongue with the obsidian to open the portal.' It isn't an inventory item.
And, if you've already asked Fjhull, the option will not be given by the Pillar of Skulls.

If you have any more questions, post them in this thread. I check here often, and will help. Starting three threads for one topic is not the best thing to do.

Sorry, very new at this and I'm learning my way around, I've already gotten politely lectured by others for my newbie mistakes. ;)

You don't actually have to have a piece of obsidian in your inventory. Go to the portal (Marked as 3 here) and you'll get a 'dialogue' option which says something like "pick up an obsidian stone from the ground and cut your tongue with it, thus activating the portal".

Also, seeing as this question is an extention of your previous one, I'm merging the threads so that anyone searching for the question will only need to look through one thread. Call it good record keeping if you will ;) Speaking of searching, if your question still isn't answered you might also want to read through older threads addressing the same question. As a matter of fact, it is usually a good idea to make a search before you post a question, seeing as your question might already be answered.

edit: Doing homework while simultaniously posting results in other people posting nearly identical replies to mine, while I'm writing mine, ten minutes before I post mine. I need to start multitasking more efficiently :)
