Targeting items with spells

Post by Hawken »

How do you do this? I am playing a rogue/wizard and have the Magic Weapon spell, but I do not know how to cast it on any of the weapons I am using. The spell fails every time I cast it. What am I doing wrong? Anything? Or is this just a broken spell? I am up to date on the latest versions of the game.

I just can't figure it out. Please help.

Hmmm, usually you just right-click on the enchanting spell scroll/item, choose the spell function from its radial menu and then point the upcoming "magic-target" cursor to the inventory item that you want to have enchanted.

If this doesn't work (although it should...), you can also try taking the desired weapon into your right hand and targeting your character model instead of the item itself. Since if you cast an item-buffing spell on a character, it will automatically affect the weapon in his primary hand.

Or... can it be your magic fails because you currently wear armor or something like that?
