I played a game with some dude's over the internet. just for fun, i used my Robe of total Dominion (which makes me immortal). But the managed to kill me anyhow. i am a 125% sure that hte robe makes me immortal. Do anybody have a explanation?
I attacked a cow named Jeff that did 15000 damage on one regular hit.

You forgot "Immunity: Slashing 100%"... or at least you forgot to write it up there. In case this is NOT the reason why you died...
I don't know the exact situation that you died in, but WITH a slashing immunity these possibilities remain:
a) direct DM damage. The (human) DM (if present) manually assigned you damage by console command or even killed you off with a similar command.
b) scripted damage. It's easy to write a script that does the same. It will totally circumvent any protection and hurt you via the engine itself. Actually some damage scripts in the main NWN campaign even do this. And once you wrote one, it takes only little skill to bind such a script to an arbitrary weapon item or even a "natural" creature weapon. (claw attack...)
c) damage vulnerability on the weapon used. Granted, I'm not 100% positive on how exactly this is handled in NWN, but in the D20 system a "damage vulnerability" feature on your weapon will not make YOU vulnerable, but the ENEMY. So if someone hits you with a "50% vulenerable to piercing" rapier, then you 100% immunity will be lowered by 50%.
d) system shock. Again, not sure if this is implemented in NWN - actually I don't even know if it is still present in the 3rd edition, but in the old AD&D system there was a rule that if you received a -huge- dose of damage in one shot, you had to make a percentile save or die on the spot from the shock - even if the damage alone would not have been sufficient to kill you. So even if you're immune, the mere fact that you get a four-digit damage blast directed at you might require you to make a percentile save... just guessing here, o course.

The Robe have 100% immunity to slashing.
I asked those people if they were "Geeks with no social life what so ever." (No offence anyone....) And the answer was yes, so i quess that b) is the most logical reason.
Thanks for the answer

Ah, I forgot an obvious - and even quite likely - one:
e) Vorpal damage.
Any weapon that has the "Vorpal" feature can kill instantly. Only prerequisite is a DC against you. If it succeeds, you-will-die regardless of any immunities. Since a vorpal hit is neither death magic, nor is it any damage of any type. It's not even magic at all, but rather like a killswitch. No defense against that save for a GodMode-flag flipped by the engine itself.
Apart from that: saying that line is NEVER a good idea... and shows some immaturity on your side. And what has gotten into you to even don such an item in a multi game? With foreign people present no less... ? Sorry, but it somehow sounds like a childish action to me.

But when i check what kind of damage the weapon does that kills me it says:
Electrical 1500 sonic 1337 fire 666 ect.
it is an arena map that allows local character, and all the other players has outfits that make them immune, so why not me??? But from now on, I'll not play on an arena map or a map that allows local characters.

Well, like I said. Using scripts, you can get any desired kind of damage past any kind of defense... be it immunity, spell resistance or whatever.
That's part of the reason why scripting is there, actually - as long as you don't have an all-powerful human DM to take care of the knick-knacks of a scenario (like in paper&pen), you will need some other kind of absolute, undisputed, controlling institution. In this case, it's the engine - and as far as it concerns the end-users, the engine is powered by scripts. =/
Of course one could try and write a script to even defend against engine-damage... but then again... I'm not a half bad scripter, yet I still wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do something like that unless I knew the exact script code that is used against me. It doesn't mean it'd be impossible, but it still means that it'd be damn hard.

I'll try that server one more time, with a character using a vorpal weapon.
Last time i played, I ended up outrunning them, they started complaining and talked about how to kill me with a bow
note that I for my part never understood how on earth NWN handles it's d*mn DC checks. Hardcoded - and quite resilient against experimental research.
-Zel
A good point. How on the earth's hard surface are you supposed to make or obtain a DC 70 willsave on a spell? The only example I know would be if you are a cleric 40 with the protection domain and 30 Wis and 30 Cha. Which is nearly impossible to achieve

First of all 30 WIZ & CHA is easy to get with +12 items (even at level 1
)
Secondly any elemental damage over say 40 is definately scripted seeing as the maximum elemental that can be added to a weapon is 2d10 (or is it 3d4?). And 1337, 666 damage? Obviously hacked.\
Btw, doesn't Immunity: Criticals give immunity to vorpal?

Not that I know of. Immunity to "Critical" just removes the critical threat range from any weapon used against you, so the damage will never be doubled, even on a natural20 hit - and neither can extra damage be applied that results from a stat like "Devastating Criticals 2d6" or something like that.Btw, doesn't Immunity: Criticals give immunity to vorpal?
Vorpal is like... hmmm, the most close equivalent would probably be a death magic spell that is cast "on hit". Only that is -not- magic. Also, note that there are VERY few vorpal items in the original game... actually right now I can't even think of a single one that is encountered in the official campaign.

But it has to be the base ability, without any items. It is that which is hard to obtain without cheating

sorry, my mistake. Boosts stack with abilities, but NOT with feats like Planar Turning which requires 25 Wisdom and Charisma.
