Hi. I was looking for this but I hadn't found a topic with this thread (maybe my search wasn't good enough . I want to know what items do I need to put into the machine located in the excavated ruins. I know, for example that I need 6 or 10 slaad's tongues, but I put them into the machine and nothing happens. Do I have to cast some spell?
Besides, I read the items galore post, but I saw nothing related with the wolves skins found in NWN, are they used somewhere? because I don't think they're are meant to be sold. I think that post is a good idea, but it should be updated with the new "recipes" found in SoU.
You do indeed have to cast spells to get anything from these. And I believe you must also use one the tokens that are used in the well in the centre chamber.
Wolf/Bear/Whatever skins are more or less useless, but just take em and sell em. Even a half-friendly merchant will give you 4GP for them. HOWEVER, if you have a high enough craft armor/weapon skill (5 skill points in either one) you will get a leather hide from animals like these, which you can make into armor and weapon components. (Think you need HotU to do this though).
