I only got 60% experiences whatever I accomplished a quest or killed a creature.
for example ,in charpter 3,when I acquired the second Words (from the ruin),I only got 900 experiences. Shouldn't it be 1500?
I don't know if this is the case, but when you are a much higher level than the game thinks you should be, it lowers the amount of exp you get for kills (don't know if this is the same with quests)
Are you a multiclass character? If you are, that can be the reason why you get the 60% XP.

thank.
yes ,I am now a cleric 9/rogue 3/Sorcerer 1.
but ,it seems that you can only earn one level for one occuption on one time.
this is not the same with BG ,isn't it?
Well I believe BG is 2nd edition rules, NWN is 3rd edition.
You can take up to three different classes, but you will often get penalties for doing so (and more so if the gap between them is quite big).
There are exceptions. All races have favoured classes, which do not count when calculating penalties. Human and half-elves can have any favoured class, which means that their highest level class does not count, and their other two will.
Prestige classes also do not count towards XP penalties. SO any race can take one class and 2 prestige classes, and not get any penalties. A human could take 2 normal classes and one prestige, and not get any penalties. An elf however, could not take 2 normal classes and one prestige and avoid penalties, UNLESS one of those 2 classes was wizard, the elf's favoured class.
