character becomes hostile towards aribeth
character becomes hostile towards aribeth
I captured the gaudy statuette in the androd estate in the docks,I became encumbered and used the stone of recall to sell some items but when I arrive my character and henchman(tomi undergallows) start attacking everyone including lady aribeth. Can someone help me out or is this a bug in the game ?
NPCs going hostile has been mentioned around the forum from time to time - but I've yet to see any real explenation or solution.
All that I can suggest is - that if you haven't - then patch to the latest. Try reloading (remember to keep back-up saves and don't just use quick save). A reinstall possible.
If all else fails, try getting ahold of Bioware support and see if they know anything.

Only thing I can think of is that you were attacked by everyone and you are just fighting back. Usually this can just involve resetting a faction BUT if everyone is doing it you may struggle! Only thing I can think of is that you've upset some NPC faction (ie, killing some random guy), turning the entire faction hostile towards you.

EDIT: In other words, reloading an earlier save game where it doesn't happen, and playing from there unfortunately.
You should always keep plenty of savegames handy. In the OC I had about 7-10 savegames for each chapter. In the expansions I'm finding I don't need as many, but still plenty. Any time I start to do something I feel I might regret later I make a new save game, especially useful since lots of bugs do arise.
