Mod Problems

Post by BhaalsMistake »

Ever since I modded BG2 and ToB, I have been having a problem when I start new single or multiplayer games. I can create a party O.K, but when I press start, the game terminates. This happens in SoA and ToB. I can, however, carry on with saved games.
I need to know if there are any compatability problems with various weidu mods that aren't listed in the readmes. I have a lot of mods installed, could this be a problem? If I have to choose between 2, could you also help with which ones to drop, as I never reached the stage where many kick in.
Help me please, I'm really p*!"£% off with this!

(ps my sister also had this problem, but when she reinstalled everything the problem went away. Mine didn't. The only difference is I have tactics and she doesn't).

Did you erase the override directory and the weidu.log file when you reinstalled? If not, then you didn't really clear everything out by reinstalling.

Yeah, I deleted all the leftover files, so that's not it.

Cheers Talonblade, I'll give it a try tomorrow (it's 10:30 in England). By the way I'm win 98 too, I don't think I said I'm xp, did I? Thanks anyway, though.
