Stuck in a Clock tower....

Post by Prefoon »

OK, this is my first time playing this game and I'm loving it, but I'm stuck in the clock tower... I read the walkthrough and see that I'm supposed to hit switches, but the only switch I found is behind a swinging pendulem, and even with celerity on I can't get past it fast enough...before getting splatted.. is there a switch to stop the pendulem? or can I hit the switch from range somehow..any help would be very apreciated.

If I recall correctly, I believe the switch is to stop the pendulum. It is possible to get passed it, it just requires careful timing.

Go down the stairs and get the Mist form scroll ;)
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

Yeah, I suppose that's another viable option... Though, isn't a lot of the treasure, aside from the magical weapons/armour randomized?

Regardless, there are a couple ways to do it, the mist being one of them.

I had some issues with that myself, your best option is as stated above, to go past the pendulum in mistform. Once on the other side, wait until you change back into your normal shape, and hit the switch, preferably when it's to the left, because it won't stop swinging right away. If you hit it while it's on the most left side, the pendulum will stop high up in the air on the right. If not, you could have trouble getting by, due to some kind of silly bug.

I found an actual mess up to get by. You have to go outside and click on the snow on the other side past the pendulem and your character will run through without getting hit. Then once you are on that side just hit the switch and bring the rest of the group over.
