My avatr won't work. it is a jpg file, 74 by 74 pixels, and 16.9 kb, therore meeting all requirements, yet when i try to upload it i get "this is not a valif JPG, GIF or (something else) file.
Any ideas/???

Well - what format is it?
If the board dosen't recognize it as a valid image file, maybe you could try and convert it into the prober format? (and just renaming it to .jpg or .gif will *not* work )
Paint usually can do the trick, although there are better utilities for this on the Internet.

i have tried both a jpg and gif!!! still no joy!... ill try again later machines are awfully tempremental
