Help, i can't split up stacked items (tiny spoiler)

I have read 10 pages back on this forum but i can't find anybody else that has this problem.
I can't split up stacked items.
This is a real problem since now i can't finish the game (in the ruins) because i can't finish one of the riddles.

has anybody had this problem and if yes.. how was it solved?

The way it is normally done, is by right clicking on the stacked items and selecting split.
Is this the procedure that aren't working?

Is your game patched fully - to version 1.62?


If it isn't possible to split - and you are fully patched - it seems you have encountered some glitch. Then I'd advice the normal stuff. Save/Reload, try an ealier savegame if you have one etc.

If nothing works - it is possible to spawn items into the game, so you could get extra of the items that you need to finish the quest. If this is the way to go you need to find the item-tags via the toolset and spawn the items into the game via console commands.
Let me know if I should dig out the tags for you - and what questitems it is about.

Is it the Ritual of the Light? I had exactly the same problem, in that I tried to add the stones before splitting them. You have to do that first, right after getting them.
