Using level editor

Post by mr_wooly »

I'm hoping someone can help out here. I've spent a truckload of $ customising my two longswords on HotU, and I'm wondering if it's possible to put them in a personal "vault" using the level editor, but I have two questions.

1- How hard is it to just create a separate room/house so I can dump stuff in it?
2- Will I be able to leave my swords and other favourite equipment items there, re-start the game with another character and collect them without spending myself broke?

Only recently discovered NWN so I'm not too familiar with fiddling around with the level editor.

Baa,

Mr Woolly.

Using the tool-set you could rather easily create a small module - a room for instance. The wizards in the tool-set should make this relative easy.

Then you could take your current character with his weapon and export him, and then import him into the module.
Next time you want to play a new character with the weapon, you could start him in the module, pick up the sword, then export the character and start the NwN game you wish.

However, be aware, that if you run around with a "uber" sword in the game at start, it could quickly become very boring due to being to easy :)
