I was thinking through my NWN campain, and was reminded of something that struck me as odd at the time... When fighting the main boss in the Snow Globe and Klauth, I got 0 exp after the battles - I noticed this, even when I did not give Klauth the sphere and took him out from full health. Is this a bug?
I have heard of other people getting 0 XP some times, but I haven't really seen any explanation as to why.
So if you are patched to 1.62, then maybe you should try and contacting Bioware and submit it as a bug.
Grrrrr.... I was running low on disk space last night, and so, I - umm - deleted my NWN games, since SoU starts a new toon . Ahh well, 1 more day and I could have helped out others in the community. I ran the patcher after installing SoU, and both events occurred post-SoU install.
