Henchmen Quest

when u are in chapter 2 can you complete quest for chapter 1?

i still have the celestial elixer thing and by reading the walkthrough i found out Sharwyn needs it for a quest. i also have the brooch for Daelan Redtiger. what can i do with these now?

Not from what I've seen.
And if you haven't done chapter 1 quests, you can't do chapter 2 (or following) quests either.

i want to do the sharwyn and daelan quests just for the XP in chapter 3.

i started another game as a fighter/weapon master and have the elixer and jem.

i find that i get a contract and a feather from them to signify our agreement, but i do not want them as henchmen, just for the quest.

is the XP worth it or shud i just forget about it?

Well - the XP isn't really worth it (unless you want as much as possible), but the items you get as reward can be very much worth it, depending on your character.
Especially Daelans necklace is something I use always when playing for quite some time. (Even use it in HotU).
