Pale master Question

Post by Bugzy08 »

Hi ive just started a pale master. ive got a lvl 6 wizard and a lvl 4 pale master. My question is every 4 lvls of the pale master they get more spells like a wizard but do they progress up tree to like lvl 5 and 6 or do they just give me more spells in the spells lvls i got???

also how many monsters can i have summoned at once. Because right now i can only have 1 summoned monster and my henchman. if i use animate dead i get a zombie but as soon as i go to use summon monster lvl 3 my zombie unsummons. what do i do to enable me to have more summons ??

thanks

Not according to the manual description. There it says you only get more spells per day, and not new caster level. So no new spell levels

I don't have any in-game experience with the Palemaster, but as far as I remember, you can only have 1 summoned creature at the time. (Not counting familiar, henchmen(s), animal companion and likes). - I might be remembering wrong though. :o

thanks for the answers. Well the first on is ok but i dont like the part only haveing 1 summon at one time that sucks. I wanted to have an army of undead that would be cool. any way to change that ??? or is that just the norm in DnD 3 ?

I am not completely sure if it is a matter of rules or game-limitations that limits the number of summons. My bet is that it is the game engine that is the cause of that restriction.

I don't know if there is made some modifications (NwN has a huge community that creates many things) that makes it possible to have more summons.
I've never looked for one (the game is easy enough as is imo) so I don't rightly know.

Try taking a look around Neverwinter Vault and see if you can find something.

Happy hunting :)

Well if you go Wiz Palemaster you can still learn spells from scrolls (so 10wiz/16PM will allow you to cast lvl 9 spells). An undead mindflayer and demiliches are definiately stronger then any other summons in the game (even better at spellcasting then you!).
